PS3 Gifts - PlayStation Bundles

PS3 Gifts - - As of October 8th, Sony released information about releases PlayStation 3 bundles for the Christmas season. A bundle containing an 80GB game console and DualShock 3 controller will sell for the same price as the 40GB unit. Effectively, prices are going down, but Sony is not "reducing" prices. The systems will be available in white, silver, and black. In addition, a copy of Gran Turismo 5 will be included in the bundle.

According to the news release by gameindustry.com, the new bundles were announced at the Tokyo Game Show, which began October 9th.

Sony is hoping the PlayStation packages will boost sells for the holiday season.
