PS3 Gifts - Xbox 360 Beats Out PlayStation 3

PlayStation lovers will be sad to know that Xbox Sales, beat out PS3 sales for the month of September. Market research firm NPD reported that Xbox sold 347,000 consoles in September alone, following the price cuts Microsoft announced earlier in the year. On the other hand, only 232,000 PlayStations were sold.

What was the highest selling games? Star Wars: The Force Unleashed earned the top spot for the month, selling over 600,000 copies. Rock Band 2, exclusively for the Xbox, came in third.

The Sony company is hoping to increase sales by re-releasing the Sony with an 80GB hard drive and the new DualSchock controller.
