There is a PS3 update available through Sony's website. The most recent update is number 2.53 and is available by download. This update comes after version 2.50 and 2.52. My first inclination as a designer would be to make the console smaller; every other electronic design is following suit. Did Sony want to stand out of the crowd with a bigger design? It makes a statement of bold and out-of-control. It makes a statement that the PS3 is not to be reckoned with. However, with all the technology inside it could be the smallest size possible. You really don't want heat from the surrounding boards slowing the graphics down. So maybe the console was created with plenty of air space.

What are some of the hottest accessories available for PS3 you may ask? I think one of the hottest accessories that makes the PS3 stand out from the rest is the wireless keypad. This attachment to your wireless controller adds the use of a full QWERTY keypad with a mouse pad. Talk about using the system as an all out computer!! This gives you the opportunity to browser the internet or chat within your gaming experience. It is a definite must if you have a PS3. The item costs less than a game and adds so much more experience to the system.

Have You Seen the Price of the PS3

Have you guys taken a look at the price of the PS3 lately? It will cost you as much as a cheaper laptop or desktop computer. It does give you the capability to play Blue-Ray Discs but the price isn't worth that much. When compared to other game systems on the market right now, like the Xbox or Wii, the PS3 is demanding a hefty price tag. I'm not saying it is overpriced but I do think they would sell more if Sony dropped the price buy at least another $100. They would make the value up in games without a doubt.
