How Much Will the PS3 Cost Two Years From Now?

We all know that when a new system first comes out the manufacture makes a large amount of profit based off of hype. After a few years of being on the market the price of the system tapers off. Then when it has been on the market for a few more years it becomes affordable for almost anyone. With the PS3, the price has fluctuated but hasn't hit that final rock bottom price. I've begun to wonder how much will the PS3 cost in another couple of years? There are several competing systems, more than 10 years ago, and Sony is trying to compare their system to a computer; such in a way to avoid the natural price reductions of a game system.
