The PS3 Price is Not Going Down

The PS3 price is not going to go down anytime soon. Even though the Xbox has changed its price a lot over the recent months, Sony has announced that it will not follow. Will this folly end up biting Sony in the butt? I do not know and no one else does yet. But, we will just have to wait and see. The reason there is not a price drop is that the cost of production is already so high. In fact, Sony is losing money on every console that it produces. It is making its money from selling the games.

Dropping the PS3 Price

Like me, a lot of people have been wondering when will the PS3 price begin to fall. We all know the price of electronics begins to taper off after the technology is a couple years old. The PS3 has already been released for more than a couple of years; plus the crappy economy should jolt something at Sony. However the price still stands strong as it appears it will always be. I think the only thing that will change the price is competition. If Microsoft or another competitor releases a similar model with a cheaper price tag will begin to see Sony drop the price just to compete.
